Chat with a Librarian is Pennsylvania’s statewide live chat reference service and is free to all residents of Pennsylvania 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. Libraries interested in contributing staff time to Chat with a Librarian benefit by being able to directly serve their own customers on chat, are able to follow-up with their own customers after chat sessions have concluded, and have access to the chat software that also can be used to provide local email-based reference. For more information about the benefits to library users and your library, please visit Benefits of Contributing to Chat with a Librarian.
