This collection, arranged chronologically by date, contains meeting minutes of the Pennsylvania Minority Business Development Authority (PMBDA). Topics addressed include loans presented for board decision, loan more application review, current loan status, breakdowns of funds available, special issues, and policy questions. Also included are audit reports from the Legislative Budget and Finance Committee (LB&FC). This collection contains applications made to, and proclamations issued by, the Pennsylvania Board of Pardons. Grouped into applications and proclamations and then arranged chronologically by date more of action. The applications volumes provide brief narrative case histories and recommendations for pardons or commutations and whether the pardons or commutations were granted. Volume 1 covering the period 1874-1877 provides reasons why the Pardon Board made its recommendations while for the period 1882-1930 records of commutation actions are included. The last volume covering the period 1931-1934 contains mostly commutation records with only a few pardon actions. The proclamation volumes provide the Board's recommendations and reasons for its judgments. less

This collection contains files relative to the Governor's Sportsman Advisory Council and Governor's Youth Sportsmen Advisory Council. These groups were created by the Governor's Office, and more reported directly to the Governor on concerns affecting sportsmen in the state, most notably hunting and fishing issues. Included are agendas and meeting minutes of the Governor's Youth Sportsmen Advisory Council for the years 2002 and 2003; year-end reports of the Governor's Sportsman Advisory Council, 1996-1998; reading files of both Councils, 2001-2003, which include articles, correspondence, legislation, meeting minutes, etc.; and the personal files of the first executive director of the Governor's Sportsman Advisory Council, Vern Ross, 1996-1999. less

This collection includes minute books from March 19, 1948 - December 1, 1999 that cover topics such as market value certifications, hearings on appeals, field reports, more appropriations, code of conduct, audit reports, and reports of engagements. This collection also includes historical notes from November 14, 1947 - March 17, 1948 predating the organization of the Board. less
