This collection contains a record, arranged in numerical order by application number, of individuals licensed as chiropodists from October 26, 1956 to August 14, 1974. Information more provided includes the name and address of the chiropodist; the date of graduation; the name and location of the institution which granted the degree; the date of application and the application number; the date that the license was issued and the license number; and the date that the license fee was paid and the amount. There is space available for recording the person's age and date of examination but it is left blank. As needed, a remarks section was used to indicate the date that the chiropodist died. The more certificates for which the State Medical Society was the examining board list the name of the physician; the date and place where the examination was passed; the agency conferring the license; and the date the license was issued. Pertinent information found includes the name and address (city, state, and county) of the optometrist, the date of licensing, and in some instances comments about whether the licensee died or had his or her certificate revoked. less

This collection, arranged numerically by certificate numbers, contains a record of the registration of veterinarians by the Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners. Information recorded varies with more the time period. The early books give the registrant's name, address (including county), and date of birth; the college of graduation and the dates attended; the certificate number (during the 1930s); the date and county of first registration; and the dates that the registration fees were paid. The more modern books do not record the birth date (after 1951), data regarding first registration (from the 1940s on), or the dates fees were paid. As needed, however, the date that the person died is recorded somewhere on the registration page. less
